Graduation

As the year comes to an end, I would like to thank all those that have made this an excellent year.

  • The seniors, who have put in the effort to make this program better than where it started. After taking from the program for their first few years (taking time, effort, training, patience) they gave more than they received in the last year. Without you, Driller Music would be Ordinary.

  • The parents, who have dragged their kids to 0 period, or after school rehearsal. Those who cooked food to feed the kids on location. Those who show up to the concert and clap for an ensemble their child isn't in. Without you, Driller Music would be forgotten.

  • The staff, who for the pittance they earn give endless hours. Demand more from these students than those students ever thought they had. They push those students to be more than just kids, but to be developing adults with goals and aspirations. Without you, Driller Music would be an embarrassment to listen to.

  • The returning students in 2014-15, who have started a journey in an art that although sometimes unappreciated in the now, pays such dividends for your entire future. The skills learned, and the habits formed make you a better, more productive, member of society. Without you, Driller Music has no future.

It has been a wonderful year, and I look forward to the next.

Thank You,

Randy Bennett
